GMS (Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc.), listed as WSB Titan within Octo Purchasing Group, have announced on July 7th 2024, the acquisition of Yvon Building Supply.

Yvon Building Supply Inc. is a leading distributor of building supplies in the Ontario, Canada market.

Octo is happy to welcome Sexton Group Ltd as a member to the group, effective January 1st, 2025.

Sexton Group has been in the Canadian Building Supply Industry since 1985, working for independent building material dealers, hardware retailers, specialty dealers, and manufactured structure specialists across the country as their trusted building materials buying group.

On May 29, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at CANAC in Sorel-Tracy.

This store represents an investment of nearly $20 million in a 40,000-square-foot store on a plot of over 530,000 square feet. CANAC operates 33 branches in Quebec and employs over 5,000 people.

Master celebrated the grand opening of its Western Distribution Centre just north of Calgary. This $11 million investment since 2019 highlights Master’s commitment to Alberta and Western Canada.

Le Groupe Master is a Canadian company specializing in the field of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR).

Octo is happy to welcome Pacific Clean Air Co. Ltd as a member to the group, effective January 1st, 2024. 

Pacific Clean Air Co. Ltd was established in 1992 and operates out of their location in Richmond, British Columbia. As a leading HVAC/R, Hydronic and Controls Distributor, they are very proud to have been in business for over 30 years.

Canada Waterworks is opening 2 new branches in Ontario, in Hamilton and Ottawa.

The opening of the Hamilton branch is scheduled for December 1, 2023, and the Ottawa branch will open during the first week of January 2024.

Delta Water Products Group Holdings Ltd. announced on September 1st, 2023, that it has acquired a new company.

The company is ARNDT Motor and Pump Service, which will become an Octo Member, effective January 1st, 2024.

Octo is happy to welcome Atlantic Piping Distribution Ltd. as a member to the group, effective July 1st, 2023.

Atlantic Piping Distribution Ltd is a PVF wholesale distributor specializing in all sectors of the commercial, industrial and oil and gas industry.

Home Lumber & Building Supplies has been serving Vancouver Island since 1960.

GMS (Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc.), listed as WSB Titan within Octo Purchasing Group, has acquired Blair Building Materials Inc. in April 2023.

Blair Building Materials has now been doing business for over 70 years and is currently located in Maple, Ontario.

Delta Water Products Group Holdings Ltd. has announced the acquisition of two companies on April 6th, 2023.

Aquateck West Ltd. and Watertec Irrigation Ltd. both became members of Octo, effective April 1st, 2023.

Kasa Supply has opened a new branch in Brampton (Ontario), on January 12th, 2023.

This is the distributor's first branch outside of British Columbia and Alberta.

Guillevin International announced the acquisition of CDE (Centre de Distribution Électrique) on January 10th, 2023.

The distributor counts three branches in St-Jérôme, Laval, and Joliette.

Octo is happy to welcome J. A. Porter as a member to the group, effective January 1st, 2023.

J. A. Porter is a family-owned business, specializing in the distribution of waterworks products as well as precast concrete, for over 50 years.

Octo is happy to welcome Sierra Distributors as a member to the group, effective January 1st, 2023.

Sierra Distributors started as a supplier of Cast Iron MJ Pipe and has grown into an independent rough-in wholesaler to mechanical contractors.

Octo is happy to welcome LK Metal Products as a member to the group, effective January 1st, 2023.

LK Metal Products is a HVAC wholesale distributor that was founded in 1928. Located in Windsor, Ontario, they operate a 55,000 square foot warehouse.

Sierra Distributors has announced in March 2023 the acquisition of two companies.

They are: Pacific Rim Fabrication (2020) Ltd. and Premier Waterworks Ltd., both located in Langley (British Columbia). They both become members of Octo effective January 1st, 2023.

Peavey has opened a new store in Salmon Arm (British Columbia), on October 28th, 2022.

It is located at 1, 360 Trans-Canada Highway W.

Peavey has opened a new store in Bedford (Nova Scotia), on October 2nd, 2022.

It is located at 1658 Bedford Hwy, Bedford, NS B4A 2X9, Canada

Doug Anderson, CEO & President of Peavey, was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 Prairies on July 14th, 2022.

Doug has been CEO and President of Peavey since 2012 and working for the company for over 20 years.

On July 4th, 2022, Ace Canada has announced a partnership with Thunder Bay Co-op Farm Supplies, bringing them under the Peavey Industries LP umbrella.

Thunder Bay Co-op has opened in 1952 and is a true cooperative, owned by its members, who are farmers in the area.

Peavey has opened a new store in Peace River (Alberta) on June 23rd, 2022.

Located at 9717, 78th St., the store will celebrate its grand opening from August 5th to 7th.

Sinclair Supply’s Winnipeg branch has moved on May 10th, 2022.

You can now find them at 1680 Church Avenue in Winnipeg.

Peavey has opened its new flagship store in Red Deer (Alberta) on April 29th, 2022.

This new store of 40 000 ft2 is located at 2810 50 Avenue, in Red Deer and offers a new display of products compared to most other Peavey Mart stores.

It was announced on February 21st, 2022 that Geneviève Gagnon would succeed her father, Yves Gagnon, as the new president of GAGNON - La Grande Quincaillerie.

Congratulations to Geneviève Gagnon on this new role and to her father for 50 years at the helm of the company!

Matériaux Bomat is a construction materials & hardware distributor located in Lévis (Québec). In 1946, the Garon family entered the lumber industry in Sainte-Foy.

Located in Quesnel (BC), West Central Pipe has been a distributor of plumbing products for over 25 years.
